Commissioned to restore the lustre of this iconic brand and reach out to the next generation, our approach was to harness Wedgwood’s enviable heritage in a more contemporary, fashion-led way. We began with a sensitive revision of identity elements with a cleaner treatment and focus on premium materials.

Our mission continued one early morning at Barlaston Hall, a stately home once owned by Wedgwood. Surrounded by beautiful china, a talented team and some wonderful cabbage-flower jellies, we embarked on three days of shooting to capture all that makes Wedgwood wonderful: eclectic print, elegant design and English eccentricity.

We also found an excuse to revisit the factory and documented the creation of some of Wedgwood‘s key pieces. This work, along with the campaign imagery, will be used online and across internal documents, presenting a compelling brand expression, distributed to markets worldwide.
